HORSES at WHISPER
We love all our guests…two-legged and four!
We accommodate a variety of equine athletes. Fox Hunters, Eventers, Polo Ponies & Show Horses will find safe, quality stabling and relaxing turnout. Ten plus shed row style stalls open out to paddocks and pastures. A maintained grass riding field for schooling, stick & ball and dressage. There is a two mile perimeter trail for relaxing on-property hacks, adjacent to miles open riding country. In the winter months, Whisper Farm is in the middle of live hunt territory and regularly hosts well attended hunt breakfasts.
Our Horse Facilities
Whisper Farm is located within an easy drive to SEVEN different fox hunt packs and is in the center of the historic Genosee Hounds winter territory, with several fixtures within hacking distance of the farm. Whisper Farm typically hosts two hunt breakfasts per season. Northern fox hunters can retreat to Aiken when the weather turns cold and footing conditions poor during the winter months. Hunting season runs from January 1st through the end of March.

Aiken has been a center of polo for over a century. Whisper Farm is ideally located to five polo clubs offering multiple levels of tournament polo and access to wonderful practices. Come for a week or stay for the whole season to improve your polo and enjoy the camaraderie of the vast polo community. We are happy to connect you with top professional in the area for private clinics and lessons. Whisper Farm offers perfect accommodations for you and your polo ponies, including stabling, turnout and track. Northern polo players of all levels flock to Aiken in the spring for a head start to leg up horses and improve their skills for the upcoming summer season. Fall polo is a booming season, with focus on tournaments and horse sales - providing an opportunity to upgrade the string.
