An easy 20 minute drive into downtown Aiken, we carry forward the tradition of Southern hospitality with a generous helping of English Country House vibe. Each guest room is carefully decorated and detailed creating both comfortable and interesting experience for the guest’s stay. When in season, rooms often have fresh flowers cut from the gardens and good books & magazines for reading. Guests are encouraged to peruse Whisper’s library that boasts an eclectic collection of vintage and rare books. Guests may be invited for evening cocktails on the porch or in front of the fire. Dinners can be arranged and sometimes a hot breakfast is offered. Each stay is as unique as each guest. The atmosphere here is casual and friendly.
